Great Strides Walk to Benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Each year, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation hosts hundreds of walks across the country where more than 125,000 people participate in support of the foundation’s mission to cure cystic fibrosis (CF). Walks are held at more than 500 locations nationwide, and together, create the foundation’s largest national fundraising event. The funds raised from these events are put towards research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care with the goal of allowing CF patients to live full, productive lives.

JES Holdings raised $2,000 for the foundation in support of this year’s walk. Michelle Sharp was a dedicated Asset Manager for Affordable Equity Partners. She was active in raising awareness of cystic fibrosis, a disorder affecting her husband, before her passing in 2008. Employees of JES Holdings started participating in the event in 2007 and have continued to do so each year in honor of Ms. Sharp.
